Funding support of up to $1500 is available to eligible Micro-Business owners to pay for training in the general business skills required to manage a small business. Below are some examples of training you may be eligible for:

Training is delivered in a variety of formats including traditional classroom, online, seminar and webinar and even one-on-one consultation. Not all subjects and courses are available in all formats, but every effort has been made to ensure that business owners can find the training they need in a format that meets their learning style, time and location constraints.
Funding support includes course fees, course materials, HST and travel expenses if no local or online options are available in your area. Computer software and upgrades are not eligible costs for this program. (e.g. Simply Accounting software is not included in the cost of any Simply Accounting courses.)

The MBT Program is partnered with a wide variety of training providers including British Columbia’s Public Post-Secondary institutions, PCTIA Accredited providers, and the Chamber Learning Network, a group of private training providers partnered with and approved by the BC Chamber of Commerce.
